brittany_stalman.jpg Coquitlam SAR was requested to assist Surrey SAR in a search for Brittany STALMAN, a missing 17 year old girl near Burns Bog. 7 Coquitlam members responded to the search for the missing teen, which had been delayed by the recent very bad weather. the search was conducted on foot, by mountain bike and was assisted by Delta police and a search dog. The girl had been missing for three days, and the search was concluded with nothing found.

A total of 20 SAR members attended this search.

From the Delta Police's Media release:

Delta Police responded to a report of a missing person on November 13 2006 at 8:38 p.m.
Seventeen year old Brittany STALMAN was last seen at her family residence located in the 7400 blk of Crawford Drive, North Delta. She left the home around 1:00 p.m. with only the clothes on her back leaving her purse and wallet behind. It is believed that she has no access to money and has in the past suffered from depression.
Police have exhausted all traditional avenues but have not yet been able to locate her. The Delta Police are continuing with the investigation and utilizing services from outside agencies.

Description:
Brittany described as: 5’6 / 110 lbs slim build, long brown hair and brown eyes.
Clothing description: Black zip-up bomber style jacket, grey sweat pants (possibly with lettering on the back of the pants) and blue and white Puma runners. Brittany believed to be carrying a pink disc-man.
