On December 13th, 2010, Coquitlam Search & Rescue was invited to present to the 4th Port Coquitlam Scouts. This presentation included a brief introduction to the Coquitlam SAR team, a talk about the equipment, 10 essentials for survival, winter avalanche safety and then some action stations where the Scouts were able to practice making knots, use avalanche beacons and probes and take a look at the truck.
